From June 15 to 17, 2025, G7 leaders will gather in Kananaskis, Alberta, as Canada assumes the G7 presidency.
To support the event, a number of changes will take place in the Kananaskis region.
Please note that KID is not coordinating the G7 Leader's Summit. All questions and comments related to the G7 Summit should be directed to the Summit Management Office or the RCMP.
A Controlled Access Zone will be in effect from June 10-18 2025.
No unauthorized vehicles will be permitted past the Mount Lorette Ponds, south along Highway 40, and no unauthorized vehicles will be permitted past the Galatea Creek parking lot, north along Highway 40.
