Water and Sewer

The KID provides water distribution and sewage collection servicing in key locations in the Evan Thomas provincial recreation area through its contracted service provider.

Water and Sewer Rates

The following rates went into effect as of January 1, 2011 and remain unchanged for 2012. These rates are based on consumption. Invoicing wil be done on a monthly basis.

Metered Water:

Fixed (base) rate of $10.oo per month; plus $0.50/m3

Wastewater:

Fixed (base) rate of $10.00 per month; plus $0.60 per m3

 

 

Note: Flat Rate service charge per load $50.00 plus  $1.25/m³ (1000 litres) allowed only at metered hydrant at the Kananaskis Emergency Services Centre.
